Is this the right model for my sink?

This model is for a bathroom sink. Standard 1¼ in bathroom sink drains. Measure the opening and check any fixed stopper, grate or crossbar before you order.

How do I clean it?

Dispose of collected hair in the trash instead of washing it back into the drain. Rinse the catcher and check its openings before returning it. A separate plug is needed to hold water in the basin.

Can I use it as a plug?

Filter only; no stopper. A hair catcher or open strainer alone is designed to allow water through.

What if the sink is already draining slowly?

Remove and clean the catcher first. If the empty drain is still slow, the issue may be farther down the pipe. A catcher does not remove an existing blockage.
