Is this the right model for my sink?

This model is for a bathroom sink. Standard 1¼ in bathroom sink drains. Measure the opening and check any fixed stopper, grate or crossbar before you order.

How do I clean it?

Check the catcher after shaving, brushing or rinsing hair near the sink. Wipe debris into the trash, rinse the perforations and return it to the drain. Choose a different model for a kitchen basin.

Can I use it as a plug?

Filter only; no stopper. A hair catcher or open strainer alone is designed to allow water through.

What if the sink is already draining slowly?

Remove and clean the catcher first. If the empty drain is still slow, the issue may be farther down the pipe. A catcher does not remove an existing blockage.
